Review of 2010 and 2011 Resolutions

It was my own tradition thing to write down what I’ve did and what’s the next resolution for the incoming year, just for the sake to “syok sendiri” only.

Let’s start appraising 2010:

I got to say life is definitely full with turning points. Each turning point involves a choice, a decision to be made. To me, 2010 is one year with tons of choices for me to choose and also tons of decision for me to make. I’m glad that, while I’m writing this entry, I’ve seeing 2 things: fulfilment and lasting happiness.

I’ve wrote this 2010 resolution during the last day of the year of 2009:

#1 Do something BIG, really BIG. (Mission accomplished!)

I define “something BIG” as something I don’t have confident to do it and beyond my ability to do it.

After being jobless for almost 6 month during 2009, I’ve received a call from a head-hunter offering me a job from a well-known software company as one of their marketing people. Everything seems to goes smooth and I’ve been hired to join them.

After joining them, I’ve organised a few seminar in a few country involving all those big bang well-known telecom company in apac region.

The most unbelievable part is I’ve managed and completed all the events solo in the foreign countries working with people with different cultures and different background.

Seriously, I never though I can go so far and of cause I'm lucky to meet some nice peoplethat gave me this opportunity to grow and explore my limit.

...Oh ya, not forgetting, I’ve bought my first house with Caterpillar :) another milestones of achievement with him and finally I've get to decorate my own house.

So it’s 2 BIG things!

Probably is not really a BIG things to some of you out there, but to me, an average small potato like me, this seems to be a BIGGEST stuff I ever manage by myself and I’m proud to say: “I DID IT”

#2 Increase my amount of savings. Work harder, earn more money!! $_$ (Mission accomplished!!)

Hahaha~no stories to tell, but got to say it’s very torturing see others buying luxury items and you've actually have that amount of money to spend but you can’t buy it because you have resolution to complete, grrrr!
(3) Visit Cameron Highland (I never been there, always "Tak Jadi" one) (Mission Accomplished!)

Caterpillar grants my wish during my birthday!

Some photos snap by me :) check out more HERE
(4) Visit Guang Zhou & Jakatar. (Mission Failed)

But, I’ve visited: Bangkok (twice), Sydney, Sri Lanka, Singapore (for transit only), Malacca (triple), Pangkor Island and Penang (twice).

(5) Learn to use sewing machine and get one sewing machine. (Mission Failed)

After being vacant again, I have no time to do sewing anymore...

(6) Control my temper, be a better person. (Partially completed)

EQ ++ during work but EQ - - during personal time :) I’m a two face!

(7) Love mr.caterpillar more & more. (Mission accomplished)

Recently, we skype every night despite we’ve been dating for 6 years, awww, I love you my caterpillar.

(8) Diet, diet! (Failed, Failed, and FAILED!)

No reason, it is torturing seeing good food and not to eat them, it’s a criminal, it’s a sin!

Ohhhh, not forget to mentioned, I’ve completed my 10KM walk.

My friends said I looks like going shopping intead of joining walkthon. By the way, it's 3.30am in the morning :)
The only very unhappy things through out the whole year is - I've been retreched :( and also, Caterpillar and I almost ended our 6 years relationship because of my disloyalty.

....To end the post, here's my,

2011 Resolutions

#1 To get a better prospect (I want to make more $$)
#2 To get myself a car (Like finally, I want to buy a car now)
#3 To continue writting my personal blog
#4 To brush up my English
#5 To start exercise
#6 To learn to bake pastries (I want a owen X microwave for my new house)
#7 To continue my monthly saving habit
#8 To set up a tiny work station in my house
#9 To lost 5kg (yea right, my very mission impossible)

And last but not least,

#10 I WANT TO GET 2 freaking iphone! ONE for Caterpillar and ONE for myself.

I bet 2011 will be a busy year for me, but life is good when there’s goal to achieve, tasks to tick off.

Until then,

Happy 2011!!!
